RD Project Engineer - extrusion

This is a newly created and highly strategic position. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and selecting new technologies, including preparing and managing the related budgets. This role will play a key part in shaping the company’s technological direction and innovation roadmap.

Job Description:

• Fine-tune existing technologies and develop new ones in the field of plastics processing (mainly extrusion)
• Design and test product innovations and implement new solutions into production
• Manage development projects and drive them from idea to realization
• Identify new manufacturing and investment opportunities
• Connect development, production, sales, and marketing
• Collaborate with universities, suppliers, and industry partners
• Prepare tests, samples, and technical documentation
• Train colleagues on new processes

Requirements:

• University degree in a technical field (chemistry, materials, plastics)
• At least 4 years of experience in plastics processing, ideally extrusion
• Experience in managing technological or development projects
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, technical documentation, and quality principles
• Very good command of English (both spoken and written)
• Experience communicating with suppliers and research institutions is an advantage
